A calming, lavender-scented shampoo bar designed for slow, easy mornings (or winding down at the end of the day). It lathers generously and leaves your hair soft, shiny, and well-conditioned, thanks to a nourishing blend of hydrolysed wheat protein, and provitamin B5. Scented with soothing lavender essential oil and naturally coloured with alkanet root powder, it’s a simple, reliable go-to for everyday use.
Why a bar?
It’s basically shampoo without the bottle. Traditional shampoo is mostly water, this is the concentrated version, with just the ingredients that actually do the job. Add water in the shower, lather up, rinse, done. Same result, just without the plastic.

Why “Brainwash”? We were looking for a synonym for “conditioning,” stumbled on it, had a laugh and it stuck.

I first discovered Och Vegan whilst on holiday in Scotland and bought
